Google Chrome: New Web Browser

September 10, 2008 by RKSI

There is no way to miss a thing what Google does and says. Yes, another new thing from Google. They released their Chrome browser and the announcement was being displaying on their homepage. I just noticed it’s no more on the homepage. Anyway, Chrome is based on the same version of Webkit as Safari 3.1. So it the theory says, it has the same level of CSS support. However, based on the brief usage so far it seems there are a lot of missing, such as text-shadow and @font-face aren’t working. Of course it’s still in beta phase, so hopefully these issues will be fixed before launch.
