This is usually the reason why a website is not doing as well as it should be.

Colour balance and contrast is another good technique. It can be used to direct users to certain pages on the website.

White is really popular in design websites love interior design and graphic design. it can create a feeling of space and balance. its linked to peace, simplicity, purity and light.

Like green, brown is linked to mother earth, calm & relaxation. there is a trend to use wood textures as a background to give the feel of the environment and organics.

Grey is commonly used to create shiny gradient effects in web design. The colour maybe linked to sophistication, stability & boredom.

Orange is truly young however also warm, stimulating & friendly. used in websites, it is also welcoming.

Grey is a popular colour for backgrounds for web sites. just like black, its perfect for emphasising images & it creates perfect contrast between different colours.

Finally, when selecting colours for designing web sites, you should think about to the way it can potentially affect users. The choice of colours might look laudable or meet the brief, although will it put your users off? by making simple changes, like changing the purchase now button to a vibrant colour might generate more sales. Serious thought & consideration could mean the difference between failure & success.
