Grey can be linked to refinement, innovation and the future. The lighter side is similar to white because it’s a great colour to use on a website’s background to create a sense of space and modernism.

In conclusion, when selecting colours for designing web sites, thought should be given to the way it can potentially affect users. The selection of colour might look commendable or meet the brief, but will it put users off? by making simple changes, like changing the purchase button to a vibrant colour may generate more sales. Serious consideration & thought often means the difference between failure & success.
